Enrichment ClassesOnce a Week
We offer a range of engaging learning opportunities that are designed to promote social, emotional, and intellectual development, while also encouraging creativity and fun.
(once or twice a week) with a professional music teacher providing the Music Together® program — an interactive class that builds rhythm, listening skills, confidence, and a love for music
Music Lessons
(once or twice a week) with a certified yoga instructor offering a fun, age-appropriate program that supports balance, coordination, flexibility, and self-regulation.
Yoga for Toddlers
(once or twice a week) with a professional educator introducing Spanish through songs, storytelling, and play to encourage early language development.
Spanish Class
(once or twice a week) with a trained instructor focusing on discipline, coordination, focus, and confidence in a safe and supportive environment.
Karate
Activities & Sports
Daily outdoor play and sports activities that promote teamwork, gross motor development, and healthy, active habits.
Attendance and
Absence Protocol
Consistent attendance helps your child develop strong routines, build meaningful friendships, and fully benefit from their time at Ladybug. If your child will be absent, please let us know by 9:00 AM so we can plan effectively and maintain appropriate staffing ratios.
Planned absences for vacations or appointments are always welcome — just let your location director know in advance. Please note that tuition is not prorated for individual missed days. For closures due to holidays and school breaks, please refer to our Holiday Calendar.

Infants
Age: 0-2 y.o.
A nurturing environment with loving caregivers who support your baby's earliest milestones through gentle care and developmental activities.
2s Program
Age: 2-3 y.o.
Exploration and independence through music, art, sensory play, and early social interactions in a supportive environment.
Preschool & Pre-K
Age: 3 and 4 y.o.
Kindergarten readiness through hands-on learning, weekly themes, and activities that introduce letters, numbers, science, and social skills.
Summer Program
Age: 2 to 5 y.o.
Outdoor adventures, water play, field trips, and creative activities that keep children engaged throughout the summer months.

Ladybug Daycare & Preschool serves children from infancy through preschool age. Age groups and programs vary by location. Summer Camp is designed for preschool-aged children.

Ladybug operates multiple locations across Carroll Gardens, Cobble Hill, and Boerum Hill. Between home-based daycares and multi-classroom facilities, we have 7 locations in total. Programs and age group availability vary by site.

Yes. Group sizes vary by location and always follow licensing and New York State teacher to child ratio requirements.

We incorporate a holistic learning approach. Tapping into different early childhood education teaching philosophies such as emergent curriculum, Reggio-Emilia and Montessori. Our curriculum follows the monthly themes of the NYC DOE but is also influenced on the interests of the children and can be catered to the inquiries and passions of our students.

Yes. Enrichment may include weekly Spanish, Music, Yoga (tot-yoga), Karate, and outdoor activities and sports. Offerings vary by location and age group.

School-day hours are typically 9:00am–3:00pm, with drop-off starting at 8:00am. An extended day until 6:00pm is available at select locations.

Daycare programs operate year-round. Preschool programs generally follow a school-year calendar, with Summer Camp offered during the summer.

Our Summer Camp focuses on outdoor play, creative activities, movement, and age-appropriate sports in a fun, relaxed environment. We follow exciting weekly themes such as Green Thumbs, Sailing Away and Transportation Exploration!
