What an amazing end to camp!
The good news is, for most of us it's just beginning! We got into the swing of school this week with all things colors, shapes, letters, and more. We of course had to start off the week adapting to the role of a ladybug! Check out our artwork that is so real it's ready for takeoff!
A big part of our curriculum revolves around the importance of health, homegrown foods, and how to maintain our own garden. Farmer Corey made his introduction by taking us through the parts of a plant as well as a scavenger hunt to search for some seasonal fruits and veggies! Luckily lunch followed soon after to satisfy our cravings for delicious and nutritious food!
Summer fun is full of educational value! We examined sea shells in our sensory table while sorting size and categorizing type. Also tons of water play and bubble blowing helped familiarize us with other science concepts such as sink/float and spotting rainbows within the iridescence !
Matching, shaking, sketching, and making - we had such a fun filled week of "preschool" camp. I am so excited to kick off this year with this fantastic group. Together, we can do anything!
